Shaun Seery
Shaun Seery brings over 30 years of international leadership experience in the medical technology and healthcare sectors, with a strong track record in radiation oncology and clinical innovation worldwide.
Before joining Global Medical Solutions Australia, Shaun held senior executive roles at Elekta, including Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, and Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific. His tenure was defined by transformative growth, market expansion, and a deep commitment to advancing cancer care through technology. He led regional strategy, guided product launches, and established Elekta as a trusted partner across both mature and emerging healthcare markets.
Prior to Elekta, Shaun served in multiple leadership roles with Siemens Healthcare across Europe, the US and Asia, including Director of Radiation Oncology (APAC) and Head of Healthcare for Malaysia. Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of commercial strategy and clinical impact, building high-performing teams, fostering strategic partnerships, and championing customer-centric innovation.
At GMSA, Shaun leads our commercial, sales, and service operations, bringing a forward-thinking, collaborative approach to everything he does. He’s passionate about making world-class technology accessible to clinicians and patients, and helping healthcare providers deliver better outcomes.
Shaun holds qualifications in electronic engineering and has completed executive programs in finance, marketing, and advanced management. Based in Sydney, he’s a hands-on leader who thrives on working with customers, teams, and partners to shape the future of cancer care.
