Global Medical Solutions Australia (“the Company”) respects the privacy of all individuals with whom it has dealings and takes its privacy obligations seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we protect the
privacy of your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).

This Privacy Policy governs all personal and sensitive information collected by and provided to us and must be followed by all persons who deal with personal information on our behalf.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to our acts and practices which relate directly to the employee records of our current and former employees.

In summary, 'personal information' is information or an opinion relating to an individual which can be used to identify that individual. Sensitive information is: information or an opinion about a person's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, philosophical beliefs, trade union or other professional
or trade association membership, sexual orientation or practices, or criminal record; health information about an individual; genetic information about an individual; biometric information for verification or identification purposes; or biometric templates.

The Company collects personal information primarily in order to conduct our business, to provide and market our services and to meet our legal obligations.
We will only collect sensitive information about you with your consent and if the information is reasonably necessary for one or more of our functions or activities or if otherwise allowed under the Privacy Act.

Type(s) of Information

The type of information we may collect includes (but is not limited to):

• Individual and company names, contact details, email addresses, licenses, agreements, Quality control methods, complaints.
• Patient Health information including, patient name, medications dispensed, date of dispensing, patient scans

Collection

The Company generally collects your personal information from a variety of sources. For example we may collect personal information from you in the following circumstances: when you deal with us over the telephone, send us correspondence (whether by letter, fax or email) subscribe electronically to our
publications or when you have contact with us in person.

There may be occasions when we need to source personal information about you from a third party. For example, we may collect personal information from a company for whom you work, other organisations with whom you have any dealings, a credit reporting agency, an information service provider or from a
publicly maintained record.

We may use and disclose your personal information for the primary purpose for which it is collected, for allowable secondary purposes and in other circumstances authorised by the Privacy Act.

In general, we use and disclose your personal information for the following purposes:

• to conduct our business;
• to provide and market our services (including direct marketing);
• to communicate with you;
• to purchase from you;
• to comply with our legal obligations; and
• to help us manage and enhance our services.

You are not obliged to give us your personal information. If you would like to access any of our services on an anonymous basis or use a pseudonym, we will take reasonable steps to comply with your request.

Please be aware that your request to be anonymous or to use a pseudonym may affect our ability to provide you with the requested goods and/or services and may be impracticable in the circumstances.

Use of and Access to Personal Information

We will only use and disclose your personal information for the purposes set out above. We may disclose your personal information to other companies or individuals who assist us.

Security

The Company takes reasonable steps to protect personal information held from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, for example by use of physical security and restricted access to electronic records.

Where we no longer require your personal information for a permitted purpose, we will take reasonable steps to destroy it. If we receive unsolicited personal information that we would not have been able to otherwise lawfully collect under the Australian Privacy Principles we will take reasonable steps to
destroy that information.
